Position Summary

Assistant Front Office Manager will be reporting to the Front Office Manager, the main purpose of this role is to support the Rooms Division, managing effectively all the Front Office Operations, and also ensure that the guests receive the highest level of service.

Job Responsibilities

Operations

· Coordinate the organizational and administrative functions in all areas of Front Office (ie. Front Desk, Call Centre, Club Lounge and Concierge)

· Handle staff training and development for the department for improvements

· Be well-verse in Front Office procedures and to ensure smooth operations in the department

· Manage the Guest Relations function, ensuring customer service quality assurance and total guest satisfaction

· Manage the control costs to ensure profitability and procedure standards (ie. Pending account, Cash float and High balance report)

Financial

· Increasing revenue whenever possible (double selling of rooms, room inventory control)

· Pushing of upsell

· Assist in implementation of cost cutting measures

Administration

· Write GIF whenever necessary in regards to guest incident

· To prepare breakfast forecast

· To look through guest deposit and balance to prepare High Balance Report

· To keep track of pending accounts inside Opera system

· To do Night Report

To generate other reports that will be used for data storage and comparisons between mtd and ytd
