-Produce all mis-en-place items to the highest standards
-Produce pastry items in compliance and consistent with the prescribed recipes and specifications. Adhere to all the standards of food presentation, production, and portioning controls.
-Assist in stock taking of ingredients, utensils, supplies and equipment
-Minimise food & supply wastage
-Ensures stock, deliveries and wastage are all checked and recorded in line with café’s SOPs
-Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety throughout the pastry kitchen at all times
-Maintain food storage areas according to the kitchen’s hygiene, health and safety policies and procedures
-Familiar with the opening and closing procedures of the kitchen and carry them out as rotated
-Actively contribute new ideas for process improvement or menu creation
-Ensures that food is delivered promptly and efficiently to customers
-Adhere to all kitchen SOPs
-Follow orders and advice given by Production Leader and Executive Chef to perform the necessary job tasks
-Any other ad hoc duties assigned


-No experiened reqiured if the candidate have background in pastry making/ baking
-Candidate with 1 year of experience in pastry making will be an added advantage
-Possess basic pastry and sanitation knowledge
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Able to work in a high volume production environment
