Summary of Job Responsibilities

The HR Officer will be part of the HR Operations team processing employee data via the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). The role will administer other HR related services and respond to employees on HR related queries

Job Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up to date employee records in the HR systems related to onboarding and offboarding administration, transfers, contract renewal, work-related pass renewal and employee personal data change
Liaise with other HR professionals on record management related matters (e.g., outstanding documents)
Process and digitize employee personnel files
Administer HR related services including preparation of employment certification letters, scanning and digital filing of documents
Respond to team members on HR questions received through inbound calls, emails or in person, research questions and follow-up with the requestor as appropriate
Assist team members with Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service applications
Escalate team members’ inquiries to HR Subject Matter Experts when specific, in-depth functional knowledge is required
Use procedures, policy manuals and reference materials to assist in answering employee/manager inquiries and resolving issues
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of any personal or sensitive data
Participate in special projects or any other ad-hoc duties as assigned


Education & Certification

Minimum Diploma qualification, with at least 1-year relevant experience in HR operations

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of HR operational processes and experience in using HCM systems will be an added advantage

Effective team-player with a positive attitude
Organized and meticulous in record management and documentation
Proactive and able to work independently.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Dynamic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
