Job Responsibilities:

To assist Chef-in-charge for smooth day to day operations in the Pastry Department.
Ensure desserts served are of high and consistent quality at all times according to SOPs.
Prepare all mise-en-place for all relevant menus
Be environmentally aware and minimize the wastage and spoilage of ingredients
Keep work area clean and tidy while maintaining excellent hygiene levels at all times.
Ensure that quantity of items ordered are received and stored in proper condition.
Comply with food safety, work security, fire and health regulations
Report maintenance, hygiene and work hazard issues.
Other ad-hoc duties as requested.
Job Requirements:

A valid Food & Hygiene certificate
Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
Possess a professional and positive attitude towards your work and team mates
Able to work under pressure and gets things done in a timely and organized manner
Able to work in a Team and be an integral team player
Relevant experience in this field is an advantage
