Role Purpose
Support the Category team in the day-to-day management of product categories across APAC travel retail locations, covering product coordination, inventory, reporting, vendor follow-up, buying administration and merchandising execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sales, stock and product performance reports; support data analysis and vendor meetings.
- Assist with purchase orders, re-orders and delivery tracking; follow up with suppliers on order issues.
- Monitor stock levels, replenishment, aging and slow-moving inventory; flag risks and support action plans.
- Support product listing/delisting, assortment updates and maintenance of product information and visuals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams including Operations, Marketing, Logistics and Finance.
- Maintain product master data, pricing and assortment databases; support price changes and promotions.
- Identify and resolve basic discrepancies relating to pricing, orders and product data.
- Ensure accuracy of records and compliance with internal processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business, Retail, Marketing or related disciplines.
- Internship or prior experience in retail, FMCG, merchandising or buying is an advantage.
- Good Excel and data handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-up skills.
- Proactive, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.
