Job Description
JANCHI is looking for a responsible and motivated Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
- Supervise and coordinate Front-of-House (FOH) staff and daily manpower deployment.
- Ensure smooth service operations and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and manpower planning.
- Train, guide, and support new and existing team members.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
- Conduct daily opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are properly maintained.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering.
- Handle cashiering, POS operations, and daily sales reconciliation when required.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling operating costs.
- Assist with promotions, reservations, events, and other operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore F&B regulations and company requirements.
- Take charge of restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
- Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in F&B, restaurant, or hospitality operations is preferred.
- Supervisory or team-leading experience will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive and responsible attitude.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to the operational roster.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and restaurant operations is preferred.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
