The Purpose
- To drive sales and contribute to the profitability of the store by delivering exceptional customer service, providing professional product recommendations, and maintaining high standards of store operations.
The Role
- Achieve individual and store sales and profitability targets through proactive selling and effective customer engagement
- Identify opportunities to maximise sales, increase basket size, and recommend relevant products
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and providing professional product recommendations
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat purchases and customer loyalty
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating issues when required
- Support the execution of sales initiatives, promotional activities, and product launches
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, visual merchandising, and overall store presentation
- Ensure products are properly displayed, replenished, and accurately priced in accordance with company guidelines
- Support stock ordering, replenishment, stock counts, and inventory management to maintain product availability and stock accuracy
- Safeguard company assets and support loss prevention initiatives by following security procedures and reporting discrepancies promptly
- Support daily store operations to ensure the store remains organised, customer-ready, and efficient
- Adhere to company policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and health and safety standards
- Work closely with team members to achieve sales and operational objectives and maintain effective communication within the store
- Participate actively in training and development programmes to enhance product knowledge, sales capabilities, and customer service skills
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager
