PASTRY CHEF | FULL-TIME
Location: Singapore
Salary: $3,000 – $3,200/month
Work Week: 6 days
Off Day: Fixed Monday
Working Hours: Approx. 8–9 hours/day
Typical Hours: Around 9:00/10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Annual Leave: 7 days
We are looking for a hands-on and passionate Pastry Chef to join a growing dessert and pastry business in Singapore.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Prepare and produce tiramisu, cakes, pastries and other desserts
• Prepare creams, fillings, bases, toppings and other pastry components
• Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, portion and presentation
• Monitor ingredients, stock levels and production requirements
• Minimise wastage and practise proper FIFO/FEFO
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Support larger production during events and festive periods
• Assist with new dessert ideas, recipe testing and seasonal creations
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 1–2 years of relevant pastry, bakery or dessert production experience
• Valid Food Safety Course Level 1 / Food Hygiene Certificate required
• Pastry or culinary qualification is an advantage but not compulsory
• Good understanding of basic pastry preparation and production techniques
• Able to follow recipes, instructions and kitchen SOPs
• Detail-oriented with good consistency and quality standards
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good team player with a positive working attitude
• Able to work weekends and Public Holidays when required
