- Conduct routine technical inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on critical equipment, including ACMV, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Assist the facility manager in overseeing a team of technical staff.
- Diagnose technical issues, resolve breakdowns swiftly, and minimize operational downtime. Be prepared to be hands-on when needed.
- Assist the facility manager in managing Smart Building Systems (BMS) and digital twins that integrate energy management with real-time occupancy and production data.
- Lead EHS topics relating to facility services.
- Maintain logs of technical equipment performance, manage maintenance records, track spare parts inventory, and generate reports to optimize operational efficiency.
- Assist the facility manager on the taking over, testing and commissioning of new systems installed at site. Work together with main contractor & Siemens project team ensuring a proper handover of equipment to Siemens.
- Plan the technical maintenance schedule and monitor the work process.
- Assist in the planning and managing of the technical budget for the facility.
- Supervision on the technical outsourced subcontractors ensuring terms of contracts are followed.
- Oversee the entire defects rectification during the defect liability period. Record, track and monitor the defects rectification progress in a systematic manner.
Technical Skills:
- Relevant experience in managing industry buildings, manufacturing environment, etc.
- Hands on experience in troubleshooting issues relating to technical issues.
- Has working experience in smart infrastructure like BMS, smart lightings & meters, solar panels, EV chargers, etc.
- Experience in defects management during defects liability period is an added advantage.
Education/Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of relevant experience in facilities or plant maintenance.
