The Job
- Act as the first point of contact between pet owners and the store
- Drive company vehicle to transport animal companions and pet products to and from the
- Perform general duties such as welcoming clients, answering telephone calls, making appointments and general housekeeping. You will also assist at the salon and spa by performing basic grooming components as well as administering spa and healing services. At the pet hotel, you will serve as pet guardians, providing supervision, care and attention to our animal guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies, equipment and parts to ensure that vehicle is in proper working condition
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicle and send for repair
- Load and unload animal companions and goods from vehicle
- Follow an established transport schedule and report delays, traffic or other situations affecting the schedule
- Read maps, GPS and follow written geographic directions
- Maintain proper vehicle records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations pertaining to the vehicle
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks as required to maintain the professional image and appearance of the store
- Observe and monitor animal guests' play activities
- Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas
- Clean up after the animal guests
- Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in animal guests and bring them to their fur parents' or guardians' attention
Requirements
· Must be an animal lover
· Able to handle cats and dogs
· Pleasant Disposition and Personality
· Possess Class 3 Manual Driving License
· Minimum 3 years Driving Experience
· Good Driving Record
· Experience in goods delivery will be an advantage
· Possession of own delivery vehicle will be an advantage
· Must be comfortable and good in handling pet dogs and cats
