M&E / Architectural Drafter — Full time
Our client is seeking a skilled Drafter to support construction projects by producing precise M&E and architectural drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed shop drawings, layouts, schematics, and construction documentation.
- Use AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks to draft technical designs.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Ensure drawings comply with regulatory codes and project specifications.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting tight submission deadlines.
- Update drawings based on site conditions, feedback, and design changes.
- Prepare transmittal forms and manage documentation for project submissions.
- Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and support fabrication needs.
- Maintain organized records of drawing versions and project files.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or related design software.
- Strong technical drawing skills with high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local M&E standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Ability to interpret complex technical sketches and project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
