Job Summary
Join Conquest Design Group as an Accounts Assistant to manage financial transactions, support monthly closings, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced interior design environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping & accounting transaction.
- Manage AP/AR, invoicing, payment, processing and bank reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate accounting records & assist with month-end closing.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers & external accountants on accounts matters.
- Handle general office administration & office operations.
- Manage office supplies, vendors, filing and other administrative matter.
- Assist with staff administrative matter & ad-hoc task.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant Accounts & Administration experience
- Experience in the interior design industry is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero or similar
- Strong attention to detail demonstrated by accurate financial record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and suppliers
