Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacture of Electrical Equipment
- Position Title: Service Technician (Gear Motor & Drive Systems)
- Working Location: Tuas
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + OT Pay + Medical & Dental Benefits
- Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot industrial gear motors and equipment.
- Identify mechanical issues and perform repair and overhaul works.
- Carry out routine maintenance, alignment checks, oil changes and lubrication.
- Test repaired equipment and verify performance.
- Maintain service records, parts usage and reports.
- Travel to customer sites for servicing and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Minimum ITE Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of gear systems, motor principles, lubrication and maintenance practices.
- Able to use measuring tools and read engineering drawings.
- Comfortable travelling to customer sites for servicing works.
- Able to carry tools up to 10kg and work at heights, in non-air-conditioned environments and with petroleum-based products.
