Customer Service Officer (Banking)
Job Description:
Recruit123 is helping our client to hire a Customer Service Officer. Our client is an established bank operating a high-volume customer service / contact centre function.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver frontline service across phone, email, and digital banking channels
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints relating to accounts, cards, loans, and transactions
- Cross-sell relevant banking products and services where appropriate
- Escalate complex cases to relevant departments (fraud, risk, onboarding, operations)
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure SLA/turnaround-time compliance
- Support digital banking adoption by guiding customers through self-service channels
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline (fresh graduates welcome)
- Prior customer service or call centre experience preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin/dialect a plus for older customer segments
- Comfortable with shift work (including evenings/weekends for contact centre roles)
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office
