Job Summary
Support the Finance team in data validation and administrative activities related to the implementation of a new financial consolidation system. The role will assist with reviewing system-generated reports, performing basic data checks, maintaining project trackers, and coordinating testing activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance team in reviewing and validating data migrated into the new consolidation system.
- Perform basic comparison checks between reports from existing and new systems using predefined templates and instructions.
- Highlight data differences and exceptions for review by finance team members.
- Compile, organize, and maintain validation results and supporting documents.
- Support testing activities by preparing files, templates, and test data as required.
- Record testing outcomes, user feedback, and identified issues in project trackers.
- Maintain issue logs, action item registers, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with team members to collect information and follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist with meeting scheduling, note-taking, and other project-related administrative tasks.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Finance team during key project milestones.
Job Requirement
- Degree, or Diploma holder in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and handling large volumes of data
- Detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
