Location: Clarke Quay
Working Hours: Approximately 4–5 hours per assignment
Schedule: Ad-hoc event days each month
Salary: $14-15/hr
About the Role
We are seeking Event & AV Support Staff to assist with the setup and smooth running of events.
This is an ad-hoc assignment with multiple event each month, generally around 4–5 hours per event. On the job training and guidance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic audio-visual (AV) setup and operation for events
- Provide basic troubleshooting support during events
- Assist with event registration and welcoming attendees
- Arrange and reposition chairs and event furniture before/after events
- Support general event setup and teardown
- Return AV equipment to the designated locations after the event
- Clear 3 designated trash bins once at the end of the event before leaving
- Other simple ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Punctual and responsible
- Comfortable handling basic AV equipment and following step-by-step instructions
- Basic computer/laptop knowledge
- Able to perform light physical duties such as arranging chairs
- Comfortable interacting with event attendees
