Job Responsibilities
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including invoicing, payment checking and supplier payments.
- Perform basic bookkeeping, journal entries and reconciliation of bank and supplier statements.
- Maintain accounting records, including fixed assets and prepayments.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and month-end/year-end closing.
- Support GST reporting and external audit requirements.
- Handle general office administration, including office supplies, inventory and maintenance.
- Maintain customer and supplier records and liaise with relevant parties.
- Provide administrative support to Sales, Operations and HR when required.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Nitec or Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Accounts & Administration experience.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Odoo ERP is preferred.
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Shipping industry experience will be an advantage.
