Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists in an organised manner
- Escort guests to tables, provide menus, and share relevant venue information when needed
- Coordinate seating plans to balance guest comfort and operational efficiency
- Handle incoming calls and respond to reservation enquiries promptly
- Liaise with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth coordination throughout service
- Monitor guest flow during peak periods and support queue management
- Attend to guest requests and feedback courteously; escalate issues to the relevant supervisor when required
- Keep the reception/waiting area clean, neat, and guest-ready
- Maintain accurate reservation logs and guest records
- Support special events, promotions, and VIP arrangements when assigned
- Assist with other front-of-house duties as assigned by the line manager
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment
- Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills
- Positive, professional attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Prior experience in front-of-house, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage
