Our client in Tuas designs and manufactures precision equipment for the global energy industry. They’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join their QA team and grow with them.
What you’ll do
- Inspect and verify incoming, in-process and final products against drawings, specs and customer requirements
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports and data books
- Investigate non-conformances, find root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support supplier quality, customer audits and ISO/API quality system requirements
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
- 0–2 years of experience. Internships, FYP or co-op projects in manufacturing, QA/QC or machining are a plus
- Able to read engineering drawings; knowledge of measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, CMM) an advantage
- Analytical, detail-oriented and eager to learn on the shop floor
- Good written and spoken communication skills
