The Management Trainee (Service) will undergo structured training in restaurant service operations, customer service, staff management, and outlet administration. The trainee will learn to manage daily outlet operations and develop the necessary skills to progress into a supervisory or management position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Restaurant Operations
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and attend to customer enquiries.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, organised, and presentable.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and operating procedures.
2. Staff Supervision & Development
• Learn to supervise and coordinate service crew activities.
• Assist in staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and deployment.
• Support the training and development of new employees.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
3. Outlet Operations & Administration
• Assist in opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor daily sales, manpower, and operational performance.
• Learn cash handling, cashiering, and payment procedures.
• Assist in stock monitoring and inventory control.
• Support the implementation of company policies and operational improvements.
4. Hygiene, Safety & Quality Control
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Report operational issues and follow up on corrective actions.
5. Management Training & Development
• Participate in on-the-job training and management development programmes.
• Learn outlet performance monitoring, labour cost control, and sales analysis.
• Assist in identifying operational issues and implementing improvements.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
