HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT (PORTER) @ CHANGI GENERAL (URGENT!)
Full-time position | Starting from S$1800
Working hours:
6 days, including weekends and Public Holidays: Mon-Sun (OFF days based on operational needs)
CGH - 8-hour shifts (7AM - 3PM, 12PM - 8PM)

Job Description:
- Transferring patients between wards, departments, diagnostic centres, procedure rooms, and operating theatres—via wheelchair, stretcher, trolley, or bed
- Transporting medical equipment, consumables, medical records, blood products, linen, and other essential items within the hospital
- Assisting in Emergency Department flow, imaging appointments, admission/discharge movements, peri-operative logistics, and time-critical tasks (e.g., urgent blood runs)
- Mortuary-Related Services - Handling deceased patient transfers in a dignified, compliant manner (where included in scope)
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and perform other assigned portering tasks
Job Requirements:
- Physical fitness to perform lifting and pushing tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centric approach
- Ability to work in a timely manner and follow instructions accurately
- No experience with a good working attitude is welcome
- Vaccinations (company-sponsored) are required to meet the hospital's employment criteria
