Join our Korean fried chicken restaurant and help prepare tasty, consistent food for our customers.
Job details
- Location: East Side
- Employment: Full-time
- Salary: Up to $2800
- Working days: 6 days per week
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, marinate chicken and portion food according to standard recipes.
- Cook fried chicken and other menu items according to the restaurant’s procedures.
- Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
- Coordinate with service crew to prepare dine-in, takeaway and delivery orders promptly and accurately.
- Follow food safety procedures for handling, storage, cooking and prevention of cross-contamination.
- Check incoming ingredients, label and date food, and rotate stock correctly.
- Monitor ingredient usage, minimise wastage and report stock shortages.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen workstations, equipment and utensils.
- Assist with kitchen opening, preparation and closing duties.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an advantage.
- Able to follow standard recipes, portion guidelines and kitchen procedures.
- Responsible, organised and committed to food hygiene.
- Able to work well with the team during busy service periods.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including late closing shifts, weekends and public holidays.
