Stock counting
- Carry out daily cycle counts and scheduled full stock takes.
- Check physical stock against the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory records.
Discrepancy reporting
- Investigate variances between physical and system stock.
- Prepare clear discrepancy reports with quantities, SKUs, locations and likely causes.
- Follow up on corrective actions and update records once resolved.
Picking and packing
- Pick orders accurately from pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Meet daily dispatch cut-off times and accuracy targets.
Cargo inspection
- Inspect inbound shipments against purchase orders, delivery orders and packing lists.
- Check outbound cargo for correct quantity, condition and labelling before dispatch.
