Job Description
- Safely transport workers, products, tools and materials to and from designated locations, island wide, in a timely manner.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of tools, products and materials when required.
- Plan and adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion and roadworks.
- Provide estimated arrival and departure times when travelling between sites.
- Ensure the company vehicle is parked only in authorised areas to avoid parking fines or towing. Not allowed to drive lorry back to home.
- Promptly report any traffic offences, summonses or fines incurred while using the company vehicle.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the company vehicle through regular cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Report any accidents, injuries, vehicle damage or mechanical issues to Management immediately.
- Carry out other reasonable duties related to driving, logistics and operations as required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence, confident to drive a lorry.
- Maintain a good driving record and demonstrate safe driving habits.
- Have a sound knowledge of road safety regulations and local roads and routes.
- Be able to use GPS navigation systems and maps effectively.
- Possess basic English & Chinese communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Be punctual, responsible, reliable and safety conscious.
- Be physically fit and willing to assist with loading and unloading of materials when required.
