The Opportunity

  • Work with one of the world's top universities!
  • Duration: 6 months(Able to convert/renew subjected to performance)
  • Location: Central (one-north)
  • Mon-Fri, office hours

Job Scope

  • Assist with day-to-day finance operational activities as required.
  • Support financial reporting, reconciliations, and other finance-related tasks.
  • Review and file monthly withholding tax (WHT) returns, ensuring timely submission and proper approval of related journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of withholding tax filings and payments.
  • Respond to routine withholding tax queries from internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and post GST-related journal entries.
  • Perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and reviews.
  • Generate reports and prepare supporting schedules for quarterly GST filings.
  • Coordinate and collate information relating to property tax matters.
  • Support tax-related projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc assignments.

 

Requirements

    • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in finance, accounting, or tax functions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Basic knowledge of GST, withholding tax, and/or property tax is preferred.
    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
