Project Coordinator (Facade / Aluminium & Glazing)
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating daily project activities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate with Main Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams on project-related matters.
- Monitor and follow up on project schedules, site progress, and installation activities.
- Ensure installation works are carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings and project requirements.
- Assist in preparing and updating project schedules, progress reports, and relevant documentation.
- Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and site logistics to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Maintain proper records of site inspections, material deliveries, and project activities.
- Arrange and coordinate site inspections and testing with relevant parties, including RTO/RE.
- Follow up on material submissions, shop drawings, samples, and mock-up approvals.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, and discrepancies to the Project Manager for timely resolution.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with site safety and quality requirements.
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction project coordination. Experience in façade, aluminium, or glazing works will be an advantage.
- Able to read and understand construction drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to visit construction sites when required.
