💊 Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Assistant (Aseptic Compounding)
Join our team and support the preparation of sterile medications in a cleanroom environment! Candidates with relevant pharmaceutical qualifications are welcome. Aseptic compounding experience is an advantage but not essential.
Working Hours
- Weekdays: 8:30am–6:00pm or 8:30am–5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am–1:00pm
- 5 or 5.5 days per week, depending on department
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile medications using aseptic techniques in a GMP-compliant cleanroom.
- Operate compounding equipment according to SOPs.
- Maintain accurate records of batch numbers, expiry dates and production activities.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and routine quality checks.
- Manage medication and consumable inventory and ensure proper storage.
- Clean work areas and equipment according to SOPs.
- Assist with production statistics and reporting.
- Comply with GMP, hygiene, safety and aseptic gowning requirements.
Requirements
Pharmacy Technician:
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science from a local polytechnic or equivalent; OR
- Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC); OR
- Foreign pharmacy degree not recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
Pharmacy Assistant:
- Part-time Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceutical Science); OR
- Other Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC with relevant experience may be considered.
Certain qualifications may require at least 20 weeks of Entry-to-Practice OJT before conversion to Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Requirements
- Aseptic/sterile compounding experience preferred but not essential.
- Hospital or cleanroom experience is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Meticulous, organised and safety-conscious.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
