Facilities Technician @ Jurong West
📍 Location: Jurong West – Approximately 4 bus stops from Boon Lay MRT
🕒 Working Days: 5.5-Day Work Week
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to maintain our factory facilities, equipment and building premises in a food manufacturing environment.
- Carry out routine inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of factory facilities and building premises.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, plumbing, lighting and general maintenance issues.
- Maintain building facilities, including air-conditioning, ventilation, water supply and drainage systems.
- Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry and general handyman duties when required.
- Assist with maintenance of cold rooms and related facilities.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for servicing, repairs and maintenance work.
- Ensure factory premises, facilities and equipment are maintained in safe and good working condition.
- Attend to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests promptly.
- Maintain basic maintenance records and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other facilities and maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or related disciplines preferred.
- Relevant experience in factory, industrial building or facilities maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and general building maintenance.
- Able to perform hands-on troubleshooting and minor repair works independently.
- Experience in food manufacturing or cold room facilities maintenance is an advantage.
- Responsible, proactive and willing to undertake various maintenance duties.
