Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Assistant/Chef in basic food and/or ingredient preparation including washing, peeling, cutting/slicing, chopping, heating up food etc.
- Wash, clean & dry the kitchen dishes, utensils, pots, pans, chopping boards, kitchen equipment etc.
- Pack takeout orders for customers
- Clean and sanitizing the food preparation areas
- Sweeping & mopping the floor and empty the rubbish bins
- Receive and store supplies & food ingredients in appropriate & hygienic ways
- Followed all food safety & hygiene guidelines and standards.
- Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements
- Preferably with 1 year's relevant experience in general kitchen operations, food safety & hygiene guidelines and practices, etc.
- Minimum primary school education and with valid food safety course level 1 certificate in a fast-paced environment
