Job Responsibilities
Lead a porter team and make a difference every day by keeping hospital services moving safely and efficiently.
- Lead and inspire: Supervise, train and coach porters, maintaining professional standards, grooming, motivation and discipline.
- Support patient care: Deliver quality portering services for patients, medical records, specimens, equipment, medication and blood products across hospital locations and external centres.
- Ensure safe transfers: Assist arriving patients with wheelchairs, trolleys and ambulance transfers, using proper lifting and transfer techniques.
- Coordinate daily operations: Manage hotline and e-porter requests, assign tasks, and maintain rosters, attendance, task records, reports and leave documentation.
- Deliver responsive service: Address enquiries and user concerns promptly, share updates and escalate feedback to supervisors.
- Maintain service readiness: Keep equipment and mobile devices functional, report defects and e-porter faults, suggest system improvements and maintain clean work areas.
- Uphold safety: Monitor Health, Safety and Environmental practices, report incidents immediately, investigate and prepare incident reports.
- Support emergency response: Respond to hospital and civil emergencies during duty or standby, and undertake other duties or projects assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate should posses at least an ITE Cert, Diploma, any field
- At least 1 years(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Without experience are welcome to apply
- Training will be provided
- Basic IT knowledge is required to handle e-system, computer, smartphones
- Willing to work in Hospital environment
- Preferably Non-Executives specializing in General Work (Housekeeper, Driver, Dispatch, Messenger, etc), or Healthcare (Medical Support, Assistant or equivalent)
