Job Summary
Will required to have pass experience in related field or have pet at home. Love for furbaby is a must.
Must be able to work from 9am onwards on Tues to Thurs. Another 2 days of working is flexible.
Join our retail team as a Pet Grooming & Pet Boarding Assistant, helping to keep pets clean, comfortable and well cared for. Full training is provided, and flexible hours support your work-life balance. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and value merit, diversity and teamwork.
Job Description
- Assist with bathing, brushing, drying and basic grooming of dogs and cats under the guidance of senior groomers.
- Support daily boarding operations, including feeding, walking, play and monitoring the wellbeing of pets in our care.
- Maintain clean, hygienic and safe grooming and boarding areas, including sanitising equipment and enclosures.
- Welcome customers, record pet information and communicate updates courteously to pet owners.
Job Requirements
- Genuine love for animals, with a patient, gentle and responsible approach to handling them.
- Willingness to learn; no prior grooming or boarding experience is required as full training is provided.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to be on your feet, handle pets of varying sizes and work with pet hair and dander; flexibility to work part-time shifts, including some weekends or public holidays, as agreed.
