DSE is a module targeted at security personnel looking to be a Senior Security Supervisor (SSS). Firstly, learners can expect to gain relevant skills and knowledge to deploy access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment. Secondly, learners will learn to supervise security officers in response to security incidents. Ultimately, upon completion, learners will be able to identify gaps and make recommendations to a security system plan.

Security Supervisor (SS) looking to be promoted to Senior Security Supervisor (SSS) on the Progresive Wage Model (PWM).
Course Outline
- Gain the necessary knowledge and know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment
- Improve a site’s security systems and identify gaps or areas which require the deployment of respective security equipment
- Train security officers to give them the know-how to operate current access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV monitoring equipment
- Identify gaps and make recommendations to a security system plan.
- Supervise security officers to perform daily checks and report faults of security systems.
- Supervise security officers to be able to respond to security incidents that are triggered by security systems.
