Course Outline
A must-attend for anyone who wishes to better understand fibers and fabrics. Learn more about fabrics, their characteristics and how to care for them. There will be hands-on sessions on how to identify fibers through burning tests and how to remove common stains. A basic understanding of fibers, in terms of their characteristics, uses and care requirements will help you make wise choices when purchasing textile and clothing products. Fiber properties and behavior are directly related to fabric performance and care. A complimentary fabric swatch library would be included for your future reference.
