Responsibilities:
- Read specifications and drawing or follow verbal instructions
- Set up machines with appropriate tools, dies, and materials. Operate bending machines
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Train and mentor junior machine operators
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Professional Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and manufacturing best practices
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
- Willingness to work shifts as needed
