CLEANER & GENERAL MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
A great restaurant works because there are people behind the scenes who care about the details.
We’re looking for a Cleaner & General Maintenance Assistant who takes pride in keeping things clean, organised and running properly.
Someone dependable, someone who notices what needs doing, and ideally someone who can handle the occasional small repair too.
We work hard, but we also want work to be somewhere you’re treated well, supported and enjoy being part of the team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Keep restaurant, kitchen, office and common areas clean and hygienic
- Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery and kitchen equipment as required
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organised and running efficiently
- Clean and disinfect toilets
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean surfaces
- Collect rubbish and keep waste areas organised
- Keep cleaning supplies stocked
- Follow cleaning, hygiene and safety procedures
- Report maintenance or safety issues
- Help with basic handyman jobs, touch-ups and small repairs
- Complete assigned tasks properly and on time
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Takes pride in doing a job properly
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using cleaning chemicals safely
- Physically able to stand, bend and lift throughout a shift
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Previous cleaning or dishwashing experience is helpful but not essential.
Basic handyman or maintenance skills are a strong advantage.
WHAT YOU’LL GET
- $1,800 – $2,600 per month
- 5-day work week, 44 hours
