Position Summary
As a Sales Associate at Venchi Singapore, you will be an ambassador of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service while sharing the rich story of Italian chocolate and gelato-making. You will play a key role in creating memorable in-store experiences, driving sales, and maintaining our boutique’s high standards of presentation and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers warmly, providing tailored product recommendations.
- Share product knowledge, including Venchi’s heritage, chocolates, and gelato offerings.
- Assist customers in making selections, offering samples, and handling purchases.
- Prepare and serve gelato, ensuring portioning and presentation meet brand standards.
- Ensure proper cash handling, POS transactions, and accurate sales recording.
- Maintain boutique cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Support stock management, including receiving, replenishing, and inventory checks.
- Perform and abide by all Operational Procedures.
- Ensure food safety regulations & hygiene are followed according to SFA policy.
- Uphold food hygiene and safety standards in handling chocolates and gelato.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and boutique performance goals.
Requirements
- Passion for chocolates, gelato, gourmet food, or Italian culture is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Positive, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with attention to detail and a polished professional appearance.
- Must be able to work retail hours (i.e. shift work, weekends, and public holidays).
