Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate to assist in audit engagements, perform audit fieldwork, and prepare financial statements while developing expertise in auditing standards and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements to support audit team objectives
- Perform audit fieldwork and substantive testing to verify financial data accuracy and compliance
- Prepare detailed audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation for audit reviews
- Compile financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Manage audit assignments to ensure completion within stipulated deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients to maintain positive working relationships
- Adhere to professional auditing standards, internal procedures, and ethical requirements throughout audit processes
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of audit working experience
- Basic knowledge of Singapore Auditing Standards (SSA) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
