The role encompasses front of house responsibilities, including the preparation of a diverse range of coffee-based beverages and teas according to the organization's recipes and procedures. They ensure that equipment and services are fully operational.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
• Establish relationships to build customer confidence and display friendliness and capabilities.
2. Barista Skills
• Interact with customers, effectively promoting the company's goals and visions.
• Maintain a high standard of service in the food and beverage area.
• Prepare and serve food & beverages listed on the menu, while educating customers about the differences in drinks, preparation techniques, and coffee knowledge, offering specialty coffee services.
• Prepare for beverage and food service by organizing and setting up the necessary supplies
3. Interpersonal Skills
• Foster effective communication and engagement in the workplace.
• Facilitate the productivity and cooperation of work teams.
• Show self-initiative, fostering a strong team spirit, and taking ownership of the business.
4. Workplace Safety, Health & Hygiene
• Follow and maintain food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in western and local coffee & tea
- Possess a minimum of at least 1 year working experience in a similar role in an F&B setting will be advantageous
- Service-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and positive learning attitude
- Valid basic food and hygiene level 1 certificate, otherwise training course will be provided
