We are looking for a reliable and organised Purchasing Executive to support our daily procurement operations. If you have good vendor coordination skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, join our team today!
🔧 Job Scope
- Source and purchase food products from local suppliers and vendors
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, availability, specifications, and delivery schedules
- Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient inventory for operations
- Conduct price comparisons and market checks to ensure competitive pricing
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs)
- Check incoming deliveries to ensure correct quantity, quality, and specifications
- Maintain purchasing, supplier, pricing, and inventory records
- Coordinate returns for defective or incorrect goods and prepare Goods Return Notes (GRNs)
- Monitor supplier performance and follow up on delivery or quality issues
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing Department
✅ Requirements
- Diploma / Nitec / relevant qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience
- Experience in Food Services, Food Manufacturing or F&B is preferred
- Good vendor management, negotiation and communication skills
- Good attention to detail with strong planning and follow-up skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Able to communicate in Mandarin
- Responsible, independent and a good team player
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
