Location: City Hall (Walking Distance from MRT)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 2 to 4 working days per month, based on operational requirements
Working Hours: 9 hours per working day
Remuneration: $10 to $13 per transcript piece. Further details will be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe meeting discussions, hearings, and official proceedings verbatim.
- Proofread, edit, and format transcripts according to established style and formatting guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and quality in all transcription work.
- Submit completed transcripts within stipulated timelines.
Requirements
- Prior experience in transcription, editing, proofreading, or related work is preferred.
- Experience converting spoken content into clear and accurate written reports is advantageous.
- Comfortable using digital tools and software. Familiarity with transcription software is an advantage.
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in current affairs and the ability to understand contemporary topics and discussions would be beneficial.
- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete and pass a transcription assessment.
