Role Overview
The Treasury Settlement Officer supports the Bank’s Treasury business by ensuring the smooth day-today execution and settlement of FX and Money Market (MM) activities, while maintaining efficient operational controls and regulatory compliance. The role is responsible for treasury-related operational processes, including account opening, audit confirmations, fund transfers, regulatory and head office reporting, and providing cross-functional support for loan administration when required. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring accurate transaction processing, timely reporting and effective operational support to facilitate the Bank’s treasury activities and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of Treasury Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Market (MM) transactions in accordance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support Treasury business activities by managing settlement, confirmation, reconciliation, and related operational processes.
• Perform customer account opening, maintenance, and audit confirmation activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Process fund transfers and payment transactions accurately and within established service standards.
• Monitor and resolve operational exceptions, discrepancies, and settlement issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain effective operational controls and ensure compliance with AML/CFT requirements, regulatory guidelines, and internal policies.
• Ensure proper maintenance, security, and retention of transaction records and operational documentation in accordance with statutory and Bank requirements.
