Roles and Responsibilities

 1.     Enforces the golf rules stipulated under the Club Rules Handbook such as order to play, control hours, time sheet bookings, when and who are eligible to play on the course, handicap certifications, maintenance of handicaps.

2.     Coordinates and executes golf tournaments or events such as Fa Cai Cup, Wee Kim Wee Challenge Trophy, Brigadier Derek Warren Challenge Trophy, 72-Hole Strokeplay Championship, Club Match Play Championship, Monthly Medal, Golf Medal and SGA Inter-Club Match and SLGA Inter-Club Match.

3.     Assists the Head of Department and the Senior Golf Executive in executing all the golf activities and private tournaments.

4.     Supervises the Golf department to ensure smooth departmental operations.

5.     Briefs, motivates and communicates with golfing staff regularly to forge closer working relationships with staff, to identify and solve work challenges.

6.     Plans duty roster for junior staff.

7.     Attend monthly sub-committee meeting and any other ad-hoc golf-related meetings.

8.     Assists in conducting the Rules, Etiquette training seminar for new members.

9.     Draft quotation for private tournament for the Head of Department.

10.  Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
