We are looking for Bakers and Cooks to join our Paris Baguette team. You will be responsible for preparing quality food and bakery products while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Baker
- Prepare, shape, proof and bake bread and other bakery products.
- Follow recipes, production schedules and product quality standards.
- Ensure consistent product freshness, quality and presentation.
- Monitor ingredient stock and minimise wastage through proper portioning.
Cook
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is properly portioned, presented and ready for service on time.
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
- Support ingredient preparation and daily kitchen operations.
General Responsibilities
- Keep updated on current promotions and new menu items.
- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment, utensils and work areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
- Work independently and support team members during daily operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Prior experience in baking, cooking or kitchen operations is preferred (Min. 1 year)
- Knowledge of food preparation methods, ingredients and kitchen equipment.
- WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is preferred.
- Proactive, dependable and attentive to detail.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to work assigned shifts, including early-morning opening shifts or late closing shifts.
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Do note that you may place in another store for training prior to moving to the official store.
