Logistics Storekeeper (Central Kitchen)
About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and organised Logistics Storekeeper to join our Central Kitchen team. You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations including receiving, storing, picking, issuing and monitoring inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming goods against delivery orders, purchase orders and specifications.
- Arrange and store goods systematically in the designated storage areas.
- Ensure proper stock arrangement (with FIFO/FEFO principles) for easy identification and retrieval.
- Perform picking and issuing of goods according to daily operational requirements.
- Monitor stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Investigate and report discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages or excess stock.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight items that require replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping and safety standards within the working areas.
- Assist in loading, unloading and movement of goods when required.
- Coordinate with other relevant departments on stock requirements.
- Perform other logistics, warehouse and store-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, warehouse, storekeeping or inventory operations.
- Able to perform physical work, including lifting and moving goods.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems will be an advantage.
- Willing to work in a Central Kitchen environment and support operational requirements.
