We are looking for passionate kitchen professionals to grow with us at Godmama Modern Peranakan Cuisine
📍 Funan Mall
Junior Sous Chef – Roles & Responsibilitie
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook authentic Peranakan dishes according to Godmama’s recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and portion control.
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen team members during preparation and service.
- Manage assigned kitchen sections and ensure orders are served accurately and promptly.
- Monitor ingredients, stock levels and food wastage.
- Assist with stock ordering, receiving and proper storage.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food safety and hygiene.
- Ensure food is properly labelled, dated and stored according to regulations.
- Support menu development, food tasting and recipe improvements.
- Assist with staff training and kitchen scheduling when required.
- Report equipment faults, operational issues and ingredient shortages promptly.
- Take charge of kitchen operations when senior chefs are unavailable.
- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.
