Job Description

Industry/ Organization Type: Medical Clinic / General Practitioner
Position Title: Clinic Assistant
Working Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: 5.5 days
Salary Package: Basic Salary + OT Pay + Variable Bonus + Medical Benefits
Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Greet and register patients, manage appointments, and handle walk-ins efficiently
Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures
Prepare consultation rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness
Dispense prescribed medications accurately with proper labeling
Handle payments, issue receipts, and assist with claims (e.g. Medisave, CHAS, insurance)
Maintain and update accurate patient records in clinic systems
Take vital signs (e.g. height, weight, blood pressure) if trained
Monitor and replenish clinic supplies and inventory
Ensure clinic cleanliness and safety at all times
Answer calls and manage general enquiries professionally
Provide administrative support and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or relevant healthcare/admin certificate
No experience required; training will be provided
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and serve patients with empathy
Basic Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with clinic systems preferred
