HOSPITAL ATTENDANT (MEAL SERVICE) @ SINGAPORE GENERAL HOSPITAL

Job Description:
- Serve main meals, beverages, snacks, and supper directly to patients
- Collect trays after patient consumption; verify tray collection only AFTER nurse confirmation
- Dispose of meal slips and food debris
- Ensure proper segregation of Halal and Non-Halal trays, crockery, and utensils
- Patient water jugs and cups: collect, wash, and refill
- Wash and dry crockery used in ward pantries
- Take next-day meal orders (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and update the eMenu system within designated cut-off times
- Address dietary restrictions and allergies during meal ordering
- Attend to real-time patient feedback; resolve minor complaints independently and escalate major issues to supervisors
Job Requirements:
- Physical fitness to perform lifting and pushing tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centric approach
- Ability to work in a timely manner and follow instructions accurately
- No experience with a good working attitude is welcome
- Vaccinations required to meet the hospital's employment criteria
