Job Responsibilities
- Operate seafood processing machines, including salmon filleting, descaling and pin-bone removal machines
- Perform manual cutting, trimming and portioning of meat and seafood
- Load and unload salmon cartons weighing 15–20kg
- Inspect products to ensure freshness, quality and proper bone removal
- Maintain product yield and portion standards
- Clean and sanitize machines, tools and workstations
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Report machine faults and product quality issues to supervisors
Job Requirements
- Experience in fish cutting, salmon processing or seafood preparation preferred.
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of seafood handling.
- Experience operating seafood processing machines is an advantage.
- Able to handle and lift 15–20kg cartons.
- Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
