Import / Export Officer (Supply Chain) @ Paya Lebar | 3 months | $2.5K - $3K per month
Location: Paya Lebar
Duration: 3-Month Contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
Are you an experienced trade compliance or logistics professional looking for a dynamic project to showcase your customs declarant expertise? We are seeking Import / Export Officers to join a fast-paced team managing core import/export operations for a key global enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Customs Declaration: Handle customs-related functions, including daily duty permit declarations for import and export shipments.
- Documentation & Audit: Review supplier pricing, commercial invoices, packing lists, and trade documents for accuracy.
- Trade Finance: Assist with Letter of Credit (LC) applications and related trade documentation.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Support supply chain administration and special compliance tasks as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Hands-on import/export experience within 3PL, supply chain, or logistics environments.
- Certification: Possession of a Customs Competency Test for Declarants certificate is highly advantageous.
- Track Record: Preferably 2+ years of relevant experience in customs permit declarations.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
