About the Role
Join PSA’s Emergency Response team as an Emergency Response Specialist, protecting lives, port assets, and operations in one of the world’s busiest ports.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergencies, including fires, HAZMAT incidents, rescue operations, and medical emergencies.
- Execute emergency response operations across port facilities.
- Coordinate with government agencies and internal stakeholders during incidents.
- Apply firefighting, rescue, and mitigation techniques in high-pressure situations.
- Support recovery, preparedness drills, training, audits, and equipment readiness.
- Contribute to capability development and continuous safety improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in firefighting, rescue, emergency response, or uniformed services is an advantage.
- Knowledge of HAZMAT, technical rescue, or marine emergency operations preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding operational duties.
- Strong situational awareness, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Minimum GCE 'N' Level / NITEC in any discipline.
- Served as a firefighter with SCDF during National Service.
